Zoom04 Composite 8 +Boxes Blue Poster

This is the composite zoom image 04, in blue, peering into the Mandelbrot fractal, but only goes 8 zooms deep instead of 12. The 8 zoom images, however, are larger. Red rectangles have been added to show where each zoom image comes from. In the upper left you see the full Mandelbrot Set. The first zoom image is from the right side of the set and the zoom series continues clockwise terminating in the centre of the print. Each image is from a small area in the middle of the previous one. This image will print 78 x 52 inches at 360 PPI. If you chose to print it at 36 x 24 inches (to fit a standard poster frame), the image will print at 780 PPI. Recently Walmart started carrying 40 x 27 inch frames ($18). At this size the poster would print at a still ultra hi-res 700 PPI. Want an even bigger poster? From any Zoom Series, print the central full Mandelbrot Set at full size (or less), then the remaining 8 at the same size. Wallpaper the posters to whatever BIG blank wall you have. At full size the composite poster would be 19.5 feet long and 13 feet high yet it would still be printed at a higher resolution than most 4x6 inch photos. Before buying, look for the “Customise it!” button on the lower right below “Add to cart,” then “Print Options” mid-upper left. Enter one of the dimensions for the desired frame size.
