I am a fashion catalog photographer based in Los Angeles who spent 6 years battling kidney disease and ended up on dialysis. I was told by the doctors that due to my compounding heart condition, I had to get a transplant or I would suffer another heart attack and would likely not survive it again like I did the first time. I was 45 years old at the time of my first heart attack. I recently received the gift of life due to a selfless young woman on the other side of the country in Florida. I want to help others like me find their donors by spreading the word via tee shirts. Knowledge is power and in this case, a life saver.
