Certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business I served with the 101st Airborne Division in Northern South Vietnam (I Corps) from Dec. 1967 to Aug. 1968 as an Infantryman. Feb. 1968, I received a gunshot wound during the TET Offensive. Here's a little about that battle. In Feb 68, I had the honor of fighting between two MoH (Medal of Honor) recipients in one battle. SSG. Clifford Sims fell on a grenade and died shortly thereafter. SSG. Joe Hooper was behind me, as I looked over my right shoulder, I could see Hooper motioning me forward. As I stepped out in the clearing, I was immediately cut down by enemy fire. Hooper went on to be a superman killing machine that day, he lived thru it and was presented his MOH by President Nixon. A book was written about us, "LOOKING for a Hero, the story of Sgt. Ronnie Joe Hooper" Hooper died in 1971 from an aneurysm, never getting to read the book. April 1968, I received a shrapnel wound to my left hand. Aug. 1968, I received another shrapnel wound to the back of my left ankle and was sent to a Hospital in Yokohama Japan then back to the States. I spent 31 years as a Telephone man. In Aug.2000, my PTSD had gotten so severe I forced myself to retire before I did something I would regret. I discovered Zazzle in 2009 and have been designing things from my "Man Cave" in the basement ever since.
