Welcome to my little corner of the book world, where imagination is bigger than reality. Reading is one of the best things to do with your kids. It creates a bond that can't be broken; your children will remember what you read them for years to come! And when you are done reading to the kids, pick up my debut adult novel, Fractured, and find yourself immersed in another world. Writing has changed my life. Ingrid's Journey to Courage made me realize I didn't feel whole; something was missing. I wrote Ingrid's story to help children understand their emotions and use their "superpower" to overcome big emotions and anxiety. As an adult with anxiety and ADHD, I have worked my whole life trying to figure out how to maintain my composure and feel calm. I wish I'd had this ability at ten, fifteen, and twenty-four. It took me years to figure it out, but I have, and I want children to know they are not alone in their feelings and that their friends, family, and teachers can help. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and we need to be the rock for those who sometimes need a little help. And finally, I am very excited for my debut adult novel, Fractured, coming in January 2027! “Fractured” follows two lifelong friends who stumble upon a supernatural portal, propelling them on a journey through history. Unlike tales of famous heroines, this story focuses on ordinary women whose lives were quietly extraordinary. As the women navigate different eras, they encounter women who, despite the obstacles of their time, found ways to pursue their passions and reshape their destinies. These encounters not only illuminate the past but also offer profound insights into today's world.
