BINGALUM

'BINGALUM' was a word used by a 2-year old boy; over and over. 'Let's go bingalum; let's do bingalum; let's make bingalum... he would say. Nobody ever found out what/who or where BINGALUM was and perhaps still is. As his mum, I kept the word and its sound as a precious memory of my children's childhood. When I started becoming creative with nature or bio-art, I remembered the word and knew it was going to be the name of my enterprise. Often, people have asked me if the word has indigenous origins. I told the above story to those who wanted to know. Now, I am a grandmother and my grandchild is 7th generation indigenous. The circle is complete with BINGALUM. BINGALUM is all about Nature, environment, artistic expression and caring for our world.
