This is less a store description and more a 'me' description. I started a Zazzle store many years ago (at least 6!), but it has sat stagnant for the past 2-3 years. I recently decided to create some new work and put a little more energy back into it, and have 'started over' with a new store. Several of the items being sold are from my old store, but I wanted a new store title and a fresh start. We'll see how that goes! --- Legalities Disclaimer: First, quite some time ago, I had some of my New Kids' related items removed. At that time, I contacted someone on the official New Kids website about the legalities of my items, and was not been told anything that indicated my products should be infringing any copyrights. I then re-uploaded a few of these items to my old store, where they have remained online without issue for at least three (3) years now. Those items will be uploaded to this newer store shortly, and it is my hope that there will be no further issues with them. Further note: I was told that "New Kids on the Block", "NKOTB" and all the guy's names (presumably their *full* names) are registered, and I've been very careful to avoid using any of those on my products. Secondly, I will continue to use the same caution and common sense in the creation of new items that pertain to the band and/or any other potentially copyrighted materials. I will be contacting the writer & producers of the Dakota Skye film, for example, for approval of any items relating to their words and work. Lastly, I do not create these items in order to mooch off someone's name or work and steal profits. All the "royalties" on items associated with public names or works are the lowest Zazzle will allow me to go, and at least some of any profits I DO make will likely be spent supporting the associated fandoms and their creators - buying myself official merchandise, going to concerts or conventions, or donating toward star and fan-initiated charities, etc. I started my first Zazzle store simply because I enjoy fiddling with graphics editors and I thought it'd be fun... I figured, if a few fellow fans liked my work, great! Any 'advertising' for the people and works I appreciate is bonus, in my mind. :) --- A little about me: I'm opinionated, talkative, sensitive (some would say overly emotional), sarcastic, insecure, idealistic... I'm a Pisces. I love my true friends fiercely, and I love meeting new people - but I'm hard for some to take, it seems! :) I idolize the work of Kevyn Aucoin and aspire to be half as creative and inspired as he was, and to always see the world and its inhabitants with as much awe and appreciation as he had. I'm not a fan of the "be unique - just like everyone else" thing. I'm obsessively honest and stubbornly different. That being said, however... I'm pagan, vegetarian, bisexual, a Blockhead, a Royal watcher, a Twihard, a Facebook & Twitter addict, and a million other things that make me just like you and your polar opposite. Labels are ineffective, and mine would be far too long if I included them all. I'd rather you form your own opinions - and you're going to anyway. :)
