About Me: About My 2008 Ice Sculpture Collection: It's interesting…I wanted to try something new within digital photography. A little something from the past in terms of vintage photography and something from the future, color mixed into this style of vintage photography. I realized without even thinking about my targeted audience that this collection has a very masculine look to it. Being honest to the integrity of these beautiful sculptures and elevating their “Uniqueness” to the next level I truly wanted to capture a style that professionally portrayed those qualities itself within these one of a kind, ice sculptures. As a digital photographer I felt I was able to do that with this style of smoky browns, neutral khakis and soft grays. This is a very original and very unique style of photography. While this is the digital age, photography and software has allowed us as creators to discover new uncharted territory that breaks away from the classic sepia, colored and black and white style photography. Also another “Unique” aspect of this collection is the obvious fact its ice and will not last forever.
