THE FASHION FIEND is the creation of Anne Sanger, an NYC-based fashion illustrator working with all kinds of technologies to create beautiful images. While she does still sketch using paper and pen, she has recently started drawing directly on the iPad to create digital illustrations by hand. She is also a longtime user and fan of Adobe Illustrator, "a miraculous technology" as she puts it, that allows her to create interesting images by manipulating her hand-drawn sketches. Anne illustrates all things fashion that inspire her, posting sketches on Instagram as @studioparapluie. Anne's company, STUDIO PARAPLUIE, evolved from a simple blog created in the early aughts, inspired by a chic girl carrying an umbrella - un parapluie - on a rainy day in New York City's garment district.
