About

My sweet sister Nico lost her well-fought battle to lymphoma in 2015. I was so angry when she was going through it, I could not help but think f cancer. As a designer, I had this idea to create something that expressed my anger but in a way that was appropriate to display and give it the positive message I believe in: To fight, to never give up. After losing Nicky, I did nothing with the idea for a few years but then received another terrible diagnosis. In the Spring of 2019, I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which prompted me to finally bring my idea to life. I designed a few shirts for my wife and I, and of course all our family members wanted one as a way to show support, and then all our friends wanted one, and then their friends and family were asking "Where can I get one?". So I made more. Because of this high demand and my desire to donate to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), where I am being treated, I started the f* cancer (*fight cancer) store. My family and I are very grateful for the entire team at MSK who are helping us through this difficult time with so much compassion and expertise, we wanted to give back. Now these shirts and other products are available for everyone who has been affected by cancer. I hope you enjoy your product and display this message with pride. f* cancer and never stop *fighting!
