She has over 40 years of experience in Art Industry including running a successful design firm for over 25 years in New York. Hemu has designed record album covers for many prominent artist such as: The Beatles, Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdinck, Quincy Jones, Aretha Franklin, plus many more. She has also designed numerous albums, cassettes, posters and ad campaigns for Hip-Hop artist such as: Grandmaster Flash, Positive Force, Sugar Hill Gang, Crash Crew, Funky Four plus One and more... For the past 10 years Hemu has focus her attention only on Fine Arts creating award winning paintings. She has had solo and group exhibitions here and abroad. HEMU's Paintings have a distinctive style, vibrant colors, energetic flow of motion and unique textures. The paintings with diverse subjects are captivating, and graceful. Her focus is to create an artwork that has visual beauty, harmony in colors, and intriguing composition. Now she has transferred her artwork on to a line of fashion designs that have the same distinctive style, colors, visual beauty, and fluidity of motion as her paintings. Having worked for prominent design studios on Madison Avenue as an art director she now has the unique ability of using her experience in creating visually appealing packaging designs in transferring the untamed brush strokes of her paintings onto her apparel, hand bags and other gift items.. The result is one of a kind design that is captivating and harmonious. Each piece is uniquely designed, carefully crafted and custom made. Hemu is also an accomplished photographer having her photographs selected for an exhibition at the famous Louvre Museum in Paris.
