Jaflo was founded by John A. Florio in 1965. John began his career as an arborist on Long Island, NY, and he steadily grew the company, adding both equipment and employees. Under the leadership of John’s son, John P. Florio (Jay), we have now expanded to over 400 employees and have a fleet of over 88 trimmer lifts, over 368 state-of-the-art off road units, chippers, spray rigs, and other pieces equipment. For over 50 years, we have been providing full-scale vegetation management services, in addition to offering a team of experienced, ISA-certified arborists who help businesses avoid the unexpected expenses of unmanaged vegetation. We also offer premium services to utilities, municipalities, and business throughout the East Coast and beyond. Our company’s vision is to have a presence in all 50 states by 2025 and our dedication to the values John A. Florio founded the company on decades ago—safety as a priority, smart growth, and a resourceful workforce—will aid in making this a reality.
