Jessica Martin is a Contemporary Gospel Indie artist whose sound is soulful, fresh, upbeat, and is southern grown. She resides in the Civil Rights Capital, Montgomery Al, where she is determined to bring forth a unique and nontraditional sound. Although the DMM award winning artist is a very strong praise and worship leader, she also had a heart for contemporary gospel and brings a flavor that cannot truly be labeled. Like a storm, God is opening many doors for her as the demand for kingdom music increases. She has teamed up with producer Ronald Martin of Prodigy Entertainment, and So for Real productions for the soulful song "He'll make a way". She has completed 2 projects and is now stepping out with her third entitled "The Kingdom Advocate" which spreads the message of the Kingdom through her songs. She has beautifully blended the anointing of praise and worship, contemporary gospel, neo soul, jazz, and smooth vocals into a Kingdom sound. Influenced by musical greats such as the, Lisa McClendon and Chrisette Michele just to name a few in both gospel and secular arenas. She is also known from the gospel group One Voice, which has been nominated for an Alabama Gospel Hip Hop Award for best contemporary rhythm and praise album. She has been featured on TBN's Praise the Lord broadcast, Conversation with Carol, and in WOW magazine. She has opened up for Benita Washington, the Selvy Singers, BBJ, Big Prophet, King Wes just to name a few. As she steps on faith, she is ready to fulfill the prophesied word over her life that she shall go to the Nations. She is the founder of Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc. also known as The Pink Society. She was a 2010 Montgomery Advertiser King Honors Recipient for the Montgomery Advertiser and was also awarded a proclamation from the mayor of Shreveport LA, declaring January 22nd Jessica Martin day for their city to celebrate her humanitarian efforts. She has recently launched the "So Pinkish" clothing line for the lovely sorors of Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc.
