Joyfulsketching

I love to sketch and would like to share my inspiration with others. I attempted many, many times to sketch but just could not transfer what was on my heart onto paper so I would stall out within the first 5 minutes of the sketch. In recent years, in my fourth decade to be exact, I went through a time of healing. As I emerged through the clouds on the other side of the mountain, I picked up my pencil one day and to my surprise, onto the paper poured my inspiration! It was a stormy sea with an island and lighthouse centered in the middle. In awe, at the gates of creativity that had sprung wide open, I continued to sketch. It was as if my heart and soul had been cleansed during my healing journey and had emptied itself of all that was keeping me from expressing myself with pencil, and I now was ravenously hungry for more and more creativity! anna marie
