3D Digital Fine Art by Tom Greenbaum

Tom graduated from the University of Florida College of Architecture in 1981 with a focus on computer aided design (CAD). For the next ten years he gained practical experience with CAD and three-dimensional (3D) design in the field of architecture. Tom produced 3D photo-realistic renderings, engineering visualizations and fly-through animations for a variety of architecture and engineering projects. The next step in Tom's career was to become involved with software application development and information technologies. Tom currently is a Senior Software Engineer with Intel Corporation. 3D computer-generated images are a source of artistic expression for Tom. The skills that Tom once used to create precise visualizations for architecture and engineering projects are now liberated from the requirements of pragmatism and serve to create fanciful digital fine art pieces. While Tom's left-brain work with computers dominates his work day at Intel, he strives for work-life balance and also uses the computer to nurture his right-brain, creative needs. It is Tom's hope that these art pieces will bring enjoyment to others as it brings balance to his own life.
