Monochrome Home

Of course, like a lot of things, a lot of this started from my own love of monochromatic interiors. During the two years that I lived and worked in South Korea, I enjoyed decorating my studio apartment with black, white and grey items. It was a space that I truly felt proud of and one thing was that I really enjoyed was buying prints. Because I was living alone and because of the minimal style, there were times when I felt like it wasn't a home yet. It did seem a bit sterile and cold at first. However, when I started getting monochrome prints with lovely quotes such as "You are so precious" and "The universe loves a believer", it added that extra touch that was missing. It added that warmth to my home without losing that minimal, monochrome style. And that's where the concept of Monochrome Home started. I wanted to create more of those designs that were able to combine all those things. Now that I am married and looking to start a family someday, I dream of a family home that is not just aesthetically pleasing, but also expresses the uniqueness of my family. So I aim to also include customisable designs that incorporate the warmth, comfort and unity of family.
