About
Eido was born in Lagrange, Illinois on September 6th 1964.
He started playing bass guitar when he was 16 years old. Eido played in bands through high school and was influenced by Rush, Yes, Stanley Clark, Return to forever and Frank Zappa. He started to listen to Edgar Varese, John Cage, Conlon Nacarrow as well as John Coltrane and Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk.
After high school, Eido attended M.I ( B.I.T ). There, Eido had a chance to listen and learn from great players like Frank Gambale, Scott Henderson, Joe Diorio, Carl Schoeder and Bob Magnusson
After his time at M.I, Eido spent some time in Japan teaching music and playing in jazz nightclubs. In Japan he was introduced to art by Akiko Mori and by Mariko Asada. Now painters that Eido most admires are Paul Klee, Henri Matisse, Jean-Michel Basquit, Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko, Arshile Gorky, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali.
Now back in the states Eido is painting and playing music .
