I am drawing for the sheer experience of it & as a Catharsis…anything extra is a bonus! Recently I was going through the ‘Arts & Culture’ app by Google where important art works of all major artists are on display- as if in a virtual art gallery… Art often lives on, beyond the earthly life of the artist…in that way it is eternal and gives 3 levels of satisfaction to the artist: 1) while working on the art itself – the drawing process itself is therapeutic and 2) after you have drawn it when you look at it again and again & maybe 3) when others appreciate your art & the appreciation transcends time and space and cultures… Hope this will be of use and inspiration to someone… God bless!
