Precious Jefferson Art

I'm Precious, a sketch artist and watercolorist residing in the Baltimore, Maryland suburbs with my amazing husband, Eric, and our two sweet sons, EJ and Elijah.  I've loved art since I was a child and have been drawing and creating all my life. I have a passion for portraits and while I most certainly love all people, my true love lies in creating modern African-American folk art.  Through my artwork, I celebrate deep skin tones, thick lips, and kinky hair. My fun and vibrant illustrative style is whimsical with a sprinkle of nostalgia. I take pleasure in bright colors, exaggerated features, small details, and the little imperfections that make us truly beautiful and unique.
