Canals and waterways of the UK and France , narrowboats and barges, and the history in photos and digital art. As a one-time painter of canal roses and castles, and now a graphic artist, I decided to recreated the roses digitally using the same overlaying technique, as well as the traditional diamond pattern found on the cratch, top plank, and bow of old British working narrowboats. Being a canal enthusiast myself, I also collect old photos and postcards, some of which can be found in my store, I particularly love the detail in the photo of spritsails at Aylesford, which was taken from a high quality glass negative. As a keen photographer, I've collected many photos over the years of UK canals, and now living in France, the French canals. Some of the older photos I've made into digital paintings.
