Rising_Tide

I've been creative since I could hold a crayon and draw great inspiration from many things in the world around me such as the smile lines around people's eyes, the frost along the edge of a leaf, the visual stories told by clouds, thrush songs at sunset, etc. I started putting my images onto cards and prints and selling them in galleries in Alaska and other places along the west coast back in the 1990s. Rising Tide is a name representative of my having lived in proximity to the beauty and wonder of the ocean for most of my life and of the tide of inspiration that washes intriguing ideas onto my inner shore every day. My intention is to create images that both entertain and educate; that offer new perspectives within common themes. Some people have told me that my images are healing for them. Perhaps this will happen for you as well.
