About

My name is Kerry, I served four years in the United States Navy. During that time, I was one of twelve females placed on an ALL male ship of 300 men at the time. My ship was stationed in Guam, that being my first duty station, I spent two years living on board that ship. During that two year duty, I was offered the opportunity to temporarily be sent to another ship for six months and be involved in Desert Storm for six months. After my two year duty on ship was fulfilled I was transferred to a Squadron in the States to finish out my other two years of active duty. I joined the Navy Reserves after my four year active duty enlistment, however, I transferred from the Navy Reserves to the Army Reserves in hopes of securing a better type of job and reenlisting to active duty. I was able to reenlist into the Army as a Parachute Rigger and also became a U.S. Airborne Paratrooper, which, is not an easy thing to do. In the Army I was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC and trained in ground combat, weapons training, packed parachutes and jumped from airplanes and helicopters. After my two year enlistment was up, I decided to get out of the military, for various reasons. A few years ago, I started searching for apparel, gadgets, gear, etc for women of the military to purchase in order to portray the time and pride that I had served for my country. However, in case you have not noticed, there is not much of a market out there for FEMALES who have, or, are currently SERVING. With all the technology in this world these days, this just BLOWS MY MIND!!!!! So, here I am WOMEN of uniform, I am going to try and make a difference, and give us some gear of our own to wear proudly for SHE has SERVED her country as well as men!!!!!
