Surveillance Technology Oversight Project

The Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (S.T.O.P.) is a 501(C)(3), non-profit advocacy organization and legal services provider. S.T.O.P. litigates and advocates for the privacy, fighting excessive local and state-level surveillance. Our work highlights the discriminatory impact of surveillance on Muslim Americans, immigrants, and communities of color. S.T.O.P. is hosted by the Urban Justice Center as one of just five organizations selected for UJC’s 2019-2020 Social Justice Accelerator.
