Tom Harvey Training

Tom Harvey has had a life long passion for the martial arts inspired by his father. His mission is to inspire a new generation of martial artist providing them the same gifts he has been given through his martial studies. Tom has been training in the arts for over 2 decades. His training began in Dragon and Tiger Gung-Fu receiving junior Black Sash. At the age of 15 he switched to Western Boxing and competed until the age of 21.While stationed in Korea he began training in Praying Mantis receiving instructors status. Once Tom returned to the U.S., he began his studies in Kajukenbo Tam Pai. In March of 2002 he met Sifu Mike Rutter and began private study in Jeet Kune Do; receiving associate instructor in 2004 and full instructor in 2005. Since beginning his studies under Sifu Mike Rutter he has dedicated his training and teaching to perfecting the art of Jeet Kune Do as handed down through Sifu Ted Wong. Tom is a Master Personal Trainer (MPT) and holds numerous specialty certifications. He has been involved in personal training for the last 20 years. .
