My story begins after 3 cancers and a bone marrow transplant. I went from at least having a life to not having a life. The bmt changed my life; no movies, no volunteer, no taking classes, no being around children, it seemed I had suddenly dropped off earth and plunged into darkness with 4 walls. The BMT was suppose to save my life not take it away. Finally... after months I knew I had to start something for myself that was creative. I had always been a creative child but lost a lot of years in between to ordinary office jobs, so I started a painting class. Having the opportunity to start a new life, I've decided I wanted it to be a creative one that brings me joy and felt purpose. I have always loved greeting cards and spent the time finding the right one to say the perfect words. I am really focused on not only creating uplifting and inspirational cards reminding us of the preciousness of life caught in moments, but to also develop a studio for recovering BMT / Cancer patients. A place for them to volunteer, be employed or maybe find their own passion to create and sell. A place that is healing, beautiful, uplifting, stress free, and most important has flexible hours.
