I have been an artist my entire life. After many years of friends and family saying "you need to get yourself on Etsy," I finally took the plunge. There is no specific type of art work that I do. I work with polymer clay, mixed media, I do Pyzanka, painting and sketching, I do paper crafts, as well as woodworking. The old adage "jack of all trades, master of none" comes to mind. I am also not very good at talking about myself or my artwork. What I do have is this insatiable urge to create. I live and breathe by the ability to create the things in my mind. I just hope that you enjoy them just as much as I do. I entered into the digital painting world with an app on my iphone called Drawsomething2. They changed the name shortly after I started playing to Art With Friends because the "game" had turned into a large community of artists who shared their "draws" with each other and the rest of the DS2 community. I guess the company lost interest or they weren't making the money they once were, but for some reason, they shut the game down. When that happened, a lot of players turned to Sketchclub (another sketching.painting app) to appease their artistic urges. I was one of them. I had learned a lot from the DS2 app. Sketchclub is different in so many ways...I am still learning to use it and all of it's features. So be patient with me. Zazzle is the perfect outlet for me! I can spend more time creating (and learning the digital side of creating art work) while the wonderful people at Zazzle do the rest! Thank you Zazzle team! I also just opened up an Etsy shop, and I am getting ready to launch my own line of jewelry. Very exciting times! Stay tuned for more information as these things come to fruition!
